Sunny was born & brought up in Punjab (Distt Hoshiarpur).After his graduation from DAV College he went to Switzerland for further studies. He started his own business house there in Switzerland under the banner Cheema Enterprises. As a hobby he did modeling in Switzerland for 3 years. Sunny started singing career from Punjab Radio in UK.
