Race 2 - Kareena In and Katrina Out

Race 2 the Sequel of race now as Kareena instead of Katrina.

Ramesh Taurani from Tips says, “Yes, we are already working on the script of Race 2. We were thrilled with Race’s success. Theatrically and overseas, it grossed Rs 120 crore and was one of the blockbusters of 2008; that’s why we are planning a sequel to it. Abbas-Mustaan will direct the sequel while Saif and Anil will be retained. We are also going in for new casting with the sequel. Kareena will act in Race 2 opposite Saif. In Race, the story will be different while some of the characters will remain the same.”

Saif added “I am very excited to be part of the Race sequel. I have been offered many sequels but there are only certain films which merit a sequel Race is one of them. We aim to make Race 2 better than the original. It will be slicker, faster, sexier, more thrilling and upgraded in a much bigger way from Race.”

Kangana Insulted at Yash Raj Studio

Yash Raj Studios premises is well guarded and not even Bollywood stars are stared by their strict rules. It is reported that - on Friday morning just before theatrical show of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi began at the Yash Raj Studios' preview theatre, a white Skoda drove up to the gates of the studios and started honking at the gates so that the watchman would open the gates for them.

But instead, the watchman refused to open the gates and walked up to the driver and knocked the window and enquired. It is believed that the watchman could see Kangana and even then he asked something like - "What should he say? Who has come?". (What an insult ;). After that he used intercom and confirmed.

This insult was not enough...there was more for Kangana - She was made to wait at the gate for about 15-20 minutes, before she was finally allowed to move in. What left Kangana visibly upset was the watchman asking on the intercom to someone at the other end that whether the actress should be let in or not and also whether her car had permission to be parked in the YRF studios basement parking! Our full sympathies are with Kangana, she doesn't deserve to be treated like this.

Parvathy Omanakuttan - "Unfair Jury at Miss World 2008"

Miss World 2008 Beauty Pageant: India's Parvathy Omanakuttan, who emerged as the first runner-up in the Miss World contest, feels the jury's decision to push her in the second position was "unfair."

 

"I have performed better than others in the personality and question-answer round. This is not just. All those who watched it yesterday felt like that. I feel the jury's decision was unfair", Parvathy told India Vision channel on Sunday.
